£24,000 to £35,000 (Dependent on experience)


Person Specification:

-BSc or DCR. / DIR in Radiography
-Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registration
-24 months post qualification experience
-Knowledge of IT systems/applications e.g. PACS, CRIS
-Cannulation Certificate and records
-Post graduate experience in a wide range of radiographic rotation in either of the following:

-A&E Plain Film Radiography
-Theatre Radiography
-Intervention (Vascular and Cardiac Cath Labs)
-Nuclear medicine

Job Description:

CRC Radiographers are expected to participate in the band 6 rotation and perform a wide range of radiographic examinations and
procedures. Our Radiographers will ensure high standards of radiographic practice and patient care and experience at all times by carrying out the
following responsibilities:

Assess patients and adapt technique as required to ensure that the best possible images are obtained for all patients
regardless of their ability.

To provide supervision, guidance and professional leadership to more junior members of staff in the department.

·  To participate in the band 6 radiographic rotation into A&E Plain Film, Mammography, Mobiles and Static Unit CT &
MRI scanning, Theatre Radiography, Interventional Radiography, Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Fluoroscopy

Communicate with patients and their relatives/carers explaining procedures, allaying fears and anxieties.

Use tact and diplomacy to gain confidence of the patient to ensure co-operation for examination

Participate in the 24/7 running of the department and any shift system.

Be aware of lone working policies, security and manual handling when working out of hours.

CRC Radiographers will become part of the already existing staff of a NHS Trust and Clinics within independent Health Sector whilst still employed by CRC and will work with already existing rota in place by our clients. Our Radiographers work a variety of shift and rotation patterns, but never longer than 12 hours on duty in any single shift. Our staff are paid by CRC directly into their bank account at the end of month.
