£26,000 to £37,000 (Dependent on experience)


Person Specification:
-DIR, DCR or BSc Radiography degree
-Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registration
-Post-graduate experience in ultrasound
-DMU/Pg Certificate in clinical ultrasound
-Independent reporting
-Recent experience (Vascular, MSK, General abdominal, Obs and Gynae and small parts sonography
and Evidence of recent CPD

Job Description:

The post holder will be a qualified sonographer with the ability to work independently, and accountable for their own professional actions. Sonographers
will be required to assess and action ultrasound requests, giving advice and reports to patients and clinicians. You will be responsible for carrying out ultrasound imaging to a high standard and in a professional manner, providing diagnosis as appropriate at the time of examination. Sonographers must maintain the highest standards of care for all patients undergoing ultrasound examinations, whilst promoting a high standard of technical expertise within all relevant clinical areas. The post holder will be working closely within a multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive, quality ultrasound service to a variety of inpatient and outpatient client groups from across the Trust and the

CRC Sonographers will become part of the already existing staff of a NHS Trust and Clinics within independent Health Sector whilst still employed by CRC and will work with already existing rota in place by our clients. Our Sonographers work a variety of shift and rotation patterns, but never longer than 12 hours on duty in any single shift. Our staff are paid by CRC directly into their bank account at the end of month.


-Knowledge of IT systems/applications e.g. PACS, CRIS

-Excellent interpersonal skills, Excellent verbal
and written communication skills in the English language.

-Ability to work independently and demonstrate
a responsible attitude to teamwork.

-Good time management and prioritisation

-Flexible approach to working pattern and good
customer care skills.

-Ability to work effectively in a pressurised
environment, managing changing priorities.

-Ability to analyse and interpret complex
information with sound clinical knowledge of clinical ultrasound

-Ability to demonstrate empathy and provide
constructive feedback
