Person Specification:

-Registered Nurse (Adult, Child, Learning Disability or Mental Health)
- Be eligible for full NMC registration (Evidence of Part 1 exams)
-Degree or Diploma in Nursing
-Knowledge and experience of providing Clinical Supervision
-Significant experience of working at band 6 level for a minimum of 2 years
-Cannulation Certificate and records
-Adult and Paediatric resuscitation certificates
-Teaching and assessing qualification or equivalent
-Clinical skills qualification or evidence of equivalent experience
-Evidence of professional or personal development

Experience/Skills:

-Relevant recent extensive experience in related field of acute/emergency nursing
-Experience in a leadership role in acute nursing
-Evidence of report writing
-Evidence of senior clinical decision-making
-Experience of working in or closely with primary, secondary and community services
-5 years post registration experience of which 2 years should have been in primary care, emergency care, unscheduled care or related field
-Experience of having undertaken a range of governance activities
-Management and leadership skills
-Experience of worked as a nurse practitioner or emergency care practitioner
-Excellent clinical skills
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work under pressure whilst delivering high quality care

Job Description:

The post holder will be a qualified Registered Nurse with a sound clinical assessment skills and the knowledge to be able to identify risk and champion best practice. The applicant will manage a diverse range of patients with minor injuries/minor illnesses, within their level of competence and agreed protocols.

CRC Nurses are expected to work and look after patients within either of the following specialties: Nursing & Care Homes General Medicine and Surgery,
Neurology,1 Paediatrics, Intensive care, Accident & Emergency Trauma and Orthopaedics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Oncology patients.

A good understanding of both community and acute healthcare settings is required because

You will be expected to work in communities and Care homes, working closely with patients and families. As a Nurse, you will undertake a range of duties including clinical streaming, triage, assessment, diagnosis and treatment, and redirection to suitable alternative services.

CRC Nurses will become part of the already existing staff of a NHS Trust and Clinics within independent Health Sector whilst still employed by CRC and will work with already existing rota in place by our clients. Our Nurses work a variety of shift and rotation patterns, but never longer than 12 hours on duty in any single shift.
